Saving Nature Through Art
Living in the woodlands of Southern Illinois, I am inspired by the creatures that inhabit our 20 acres, whether they be Coyotes, Foxes, Beavers, Hawks, Eagles or Crows. I identify with their struggle to survive in this chaotic world. In this the Year of the Horse, an animal that I grew up with is now providing me a vehicle for expression also.
I'm an artist--primarily a painter, sculptor and a writer. I'm currently working on a series of short stories that together fall under the theme of memoir.
